Consider what capacity you need on a daily basis - 20-35 litres is usually sufficient for the bathroom, while 50-120 litre bags will work better for the kitchen.
Check the film thickness in microns: the higher the thickness, the greater the resistance to punctures and heavier waste.
For wet waste, choose bags with tightened bottoms and reinforced seals that do not get wet.
If you value convenience, opt for a bag with a drawstring or 'ears' for easy tying and carrying.
